Prof. A. Cupane's scientific work was mainly devoted to the use of spectroscopic techniques Advanced (optical absorption, FTIR, spectroscopy derivative temperature, time-resolved spectroscopy), elastic and quasi-elastic neutron scattering, X-ray scattering solved in time) for physics studies of iological matter, Molecular Biophysics and Soft Physics.The group of Prof. Cupane has given a decisive contribution to the development of the TR-WAXS (Time-Resolved Wide Angle X-ray technique Scattering) which reveals the structural dynamics of the proteins in solution with resolution of the nanosecond through the use of the ESRF synchrotron (Grenoble, France) and more recently also with Resolution lower than the picosecond using the Free Electron Laser from LCLS, Stanford, USA. Recently Prof. A. Cupane has also expanded his activities to include studies on the physical properties of water under-cooled confined in silica matrices, to the dynamic properties of water in biological cells; and in brain tissues, and to problems of transfer of advanced spectroscopic techniques within the food and pharmaceuticals and the preservation of cultural goods. Professor Cupane is the author of more than twenty publications in international journals in the 2015-2020 years;and joins a list obtained from the Chinese website
