Bio
Anthony I. Chou received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, in 1992, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997. His doctoral dissertation is in the area of ultrathin oxynitride CMOS gate dielectrics.
In 1997, he joined Texas Instruments Incorporated, Dallas, TX, and worked on Flash memory device integration. In 1998, he joined the Semiconductor Research and Development Center, IBM Microelectronics Division, Essex Junction, NY. Since then, he has worked in the areas of advanced CMOS gate dielectric process development, characterization and device reliability, as well as plasma process induced damage. He is currently a Senior Engineer at IBM. He holds several patents and has authored many papers in the area of CMOS technologies.
