Bio
We study contemporary evolution and other effects of human-induced stresses on aquatic ecosystems. At the moment, we are interested in resolving the genetic basis for migratory behaviour and vulnerability to angling in brown trout, and mitigating hatchery-induced selection on salmonids. Our current works also include predicting pikeperch responses to climate change, its role at ecosystem level and exploring angling-induced selection on perch.
