Annie Wing-Tung Lee

Dr. Lee Wing Tung is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Health Technology and Informatics. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in the School of Biomedical Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021. Dr. Lee was working on female reproductive health during her Ph.D. study. Her current research areas include microbial metagenomics and the diagnosis of infectious diseases. She published peer-reviewed research publications related to microbiology and human reproduction in high-quality journals, such as Frontiers in Microbiology and Human Reproduction. Her research has produced significant results that can be used to rapidly diagnose a range of diseases, including infertility, sepsis, and tuberculosis, using standard culture techniques and sequencing platforms.
