个人简介
SCIENTIFIC FOCUS AND INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIONS
Primary scientific focus is clinical research in children and adolescents with mental disorders. My priorities are interventions (pharmacologic and non-pharmacological studies) and abnormal neurodevelopmental trajectories. To develop new treatment strategies that meet the demands of precision medicine, a better understanding of underlying illness etiology and treatment mechanisms is imperative. Therefore, especially in mental disorders in which disease mechanisms are not clarified, it is rational and meaningful to engage in translational research to improve the understanding of mental disorders and testing the interventions in parallel. Furthermore, the development of artificial intelligence tools has paved the way for new promising perspectives in modern medicine, and my recent education in innovation at the Danish Technical University (DTU) & Haas School of Executive Business, UC Berkeley, USA, has further nourished my interest in new reframing approaches to clinical research to build stronger services for our patients. I draw on my experiences from treatment trials, neurobiological studies, and clinical practice to conduct research that aims to aid our understanding of mental disorders and treatment response. To strengthen these initiatives, we have established strong collaborative networks with national and international experts, including experts from: Yale University, USA; University of Lausanne, CH; Cambridge University, UK; UCLA, USA; Vrije University, NL; Karolinska Inst., SE; University of Warwick, UK; University of Melbourne, AUS; Charité Universitätsmedizin, GE; Zucker School of Medicine, USA; University of Oslo, NO; King's College, London, UK; University of Basel; CH.
