Bio
Anna Encheva is with the ITER, Saint Paul Lez Durance Cedex, France, as an in-vessel Assembly Manager. From March 1998 to March 2001, she was a Sales and Technical Advisor with the Department of Pneumatic and Automation Systems, Company Festo Bulgaria (branch of Festo AG & Company, Esslingen, Germany). From April 2001 to October 2005, she was a Mechanical Engineer (Scientist) with the Department of Technology, Working Group NBI, Max-Planck-Institut für Plasmaphysik, Garching, Germany. From September 2005 to November 2007, she was an Engineer (Scientist) at CRPP, Lausanne, Switzerland, responsible for the engineering part of the project “Magnetic diagnostics for ITER.” From November 2007 to July 2013, she was a Responsible Officer for Diagnostic Electrical Services and Diagnostic Engineer with the Diagnostic Division, ITER IO. From July 2013 to December 2015, she was a Responsible Officer for ITER in-vessel coils (IVCs). Since January 2016, she was been a Responsible Engineer for ITER IVCs Conductor Procurement (Research and Development, Qualification and Manufacturing) and other IVC-related contracts. Since January 2021, she is been an In-vessel Assembly Manager, ITER Organization.
