Bio
Anh T. Pham (SM’11) received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in
electronics engineering from the Hanoi University of Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam, in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and
the Ph.D. degree in information and mathematical sciences from Saitama University, Saitama, Japan, in 2005. From 1998
to 2002, he was with the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. in Vietnam; since April 2005, he has been a Faculty at
the University of Aizu, Aizuwakamatsu, Japan, where he is currently a Professor of computer communications with the
Division of Computer Engineering. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Engineering and Technology,
Vietnam National University, Hanoi. His research interests include areas of communication theory and networking with a
particular emphasis on modeling, design, and performance evaluation of wired/wireless communication systems and
networks. He received the Vietnamese Government Scholarship for undergraduate study and the Japanese Government
Scholarship (MonbuKagaku-sho) for his Ph.D. dissertation. He is a Member of the IEICE and the OSA.
