Areas of specialization: watershed hydrology, hydrological modeling, climate impact studies, cold region hydrology, extreme hydrometeorological phenomena, natural and anthropogenic components of climate change, paleohydrology;
Membership in the EGU and IAHS;
Co-convener of the JC05 session “Climate change impacts on arctic snow, permafrost, lake and river ice” at the XXVII General Assembly of the IUGG 2019;
Co-author of the hydrological part of the Third Assessment Report of Rushydromet on climate change and its consequences on the territory of the Russian Federation, 2022
