Andrew K. Wise

Andrew K. Wise received the Ph.D. degree from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, in 2001. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Bionics Institute, Melbourne, Australia (2001–2003). He moved to Bristol, U.K., where he took up a Postdoctoral Position (2003–2006) before returning to Melbourne in 2006 to continue research at the Bionics Institute. His research interests are focused on the use of drug delivery to prevent degeneration of cochlear cells following deafness, with or without cochlear implantation, and examining the effects of this treatment on auditory function.
