I serve as the Chief of Neuroscience at Piedmont Healthcare, where I lead the development of the neuroscience program in neurology, neurosurgery, and clinical research. My mission is to provide the highest quality of care and innovation for patients with neurological disorders.

My Core Competencies include administrative leadership and clinical expertise. My clinical competencies are surgical and non-surgical treatment of brain and spine tumors, clinical trials, surgical education, and programmatic development. I am actively involved in conducting and overseeing clinical trials focused on immunotherapy, glioma stem cells, laser interstitial thermotherapy, and novel delivery techniques for brain tumor therapies. I also mentor and educate fellows, and junior faculty in various settings, and help to develop a surgical rehearsal platform that enables better planning and collaboration. Additionally, I collaborate with my outstanding colleagues at Piedmont to expand and diversify the clinical and research activities of the burgeoning neuroscience program.
