Bio
My name is Andrew Soltisz and I am a recent PhD graduate from the department of Biomedical Engineering at The Ohio State University. Under the advisement of Dr. Rengesayee Veeraraghavan, I developed image processing and analysis tools to quantify structural characteristics of cardiac derived tissues and cells with the goal of investigating mechanisms of heart failure and arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies. Outside of the lab I enjoy homebrewing, rock climbing, and exploring the world's national parks and forests through hiking and backpacking.
