Bio
Andrew G. Swanson received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2004, 2007, and 2015, respectively.
He is currently a Senior Lecturer with the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa, and is a Professionally Registered Engineer. He is currently responsible for research and testing in the field of high voltage engineering. His research interests include overhead line equipment, discharges in gases, and reactors and transformers.
