I work as a clinical psychologist specialising in complex and enduring mental health needs. Before my clinical training I completed a PhD with Chris Harrop and Peter Trower at the University of Birmingham, exploring a cognitive-developmental model of mental health. Much of my current work involves the development of understandings of the social-psychological factors important in complex mental health difficulties, and trying to work out what to do about them to improve people's well-being.
