Andrew C. Bauer

Andrew C. Bauer is currently a research mechanical engineer with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Vicksburg, MS, USA. He works primarily on developing algorithms and interfaces for software that numerically discretize partial differential equations (PDE). His recent focus has been on in situ analysis and visualization of and parallel computing to ensure efficient use of available computing resources. He received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Binghamton University, Binghamton, NY, USA, in 1996 and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, USA, 2002.
