Andreas Scheurer

Andreas Scheurer studied chemistry at the FAU and at the Universite de Rennes 1. For his doctoral thesis he developed novel systems for asymmetric catalysis at the ENSCR/FAU. After a postdoc at the ENSCR with Dr. P. Mosset, he returned to Prof. Saalfrank’s group at the FAU, where he studied polynuclear transition-metal complexes (intramolecular electron transfer and single-molecule magnetism). Currently, his research is focused on supramolecular and uranium coordination chemistry (Prof. Meyer).
