Andreas Messner

Andreas Messner received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and information technology from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Karlsruhe, Germany, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. Since 2015, he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in the group of Prof. J. Leuthold at ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland. From 2010 to 2015, he investigated and modeled battery and fuel cell electrode materials as a Student Research Assistant with the Institute of Materials for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. From December 2013 to May 2014, he was part of the network infrastructure group in the Guiana Space Centre, Kourou, France. Today, his research interests comprise integrated photonics and plasmonics and their combination with nonlinear optical materials.
