Bio
Andrea Goti was born in Firenze, Italy, in 1957. He earned his Laurea degree in Chemistry in 1982 at the University of Firenze. In 1985 he was appointed CNR researcher (Center on Heterocyclic Compounds). From 1998 to 2002 he was Associate Professor and since 2002 is Full Professor at the Department of Organic Chemistry of the University of Firenze, teaching at the Faculty of Sciences.
2005-2009: President of the Science Library of the University of Firenze.
2006-2009: President of the Laurea and Master Degrees in Chemistry of the University of Firenze.
Since 2010: Coordinator of the Doctorate in Chemical Sciences of the University of Firenze.
Since 2013: vice President of the School of Sciences, University of Firenze
Post-doc:
Princeton University (U.S.A., 1987), with a CNR fellowship.
Visiting Scientist: University of Göttingen (Germany, 1994) within a bilateral project ("Programma Vigoni"); University of Paris-Sud, Institut de Chimie Moleculaire d'Orsay (France, 1996 and 1999) within bilateral CNR-CNRS projects; University M. Curie-Sklodowska of Lublin, Department of Organic Chemistry and Institute of Organic Chemistry of Warsaw of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Poland, 1998) within a bilateral CNR-PAN project.
BIBLIOMETRIC INDEXES. IMPACT FACTOR (IF) (for the 142 publications in ISI journals: Total Impact Factor = 535.674; Medium Impact Factor = 3.8.
CITATIONS and h-INDEX (data for 140 publications are currently available on ISI databank): Total number of citations = 4500; Medium number of citations per publication = 31.66; h-Index = 39 (ISI Web of Knowledge, Web of Science).
