Anaclet Ngezahayo currently works at the Institute of Cell Biology and Biophysics at the Leibniz University Hannover. He is the leader of the department of Cell Physiology and Biophysics. Anaclet does research in Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Cell Biology, Cell Physiology and Tissue Engineering. The current projects of his group are:' 1. Integration of cell-cell junctios (gap junctions and tight junctions) in general cell-cell signalling in various tissue using cell model and 3D generated organoids 2. Oligomerization of connexins to form gap junction 3. Role of gap junction in organ development. Following techniques are used: cell culture, 3D cell culture to produce organoids, Molecular biology, Cell imaging, Ca2+-imaging, Patch-clamp, Impedance spectroscopy.
