Bio
Ana Filipa Oliveira obtained a BSc degree in Psychology in 2015 and an MSc degree in Health Psychology and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation in 2017, both from the University of Aveiro, Portugal.
She is currently a PhD student/research fellow at the Department of Education and Psychology - University of Aveiro and CINTESIS - Center for Health Technology and Services Research, Portugal, in collaboration with UCLA - University of California, Los Angeles, USA, with a grant funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT grant SFRH/BD/138785/2018).
Her main research interests include Psycho-Oncology and Neuropsychology, more specifically the development and implementation of intervention programs. Lately, within her PhD research project, she has been working on the study of cancer-related cognitive impairment and its impact on work-related outcomes. The main outcome of the project consists of a web-based cognitive rehabilitation program to address cognitive impairment in cancer survivors (the CanCOG program), developed from the original UCLA program and in collaboration with the program team.
She has past research experience in the field of aging and informal caregiving, working as a research fellow at ICBAS-UP - Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences - University of Porto. She currently co-supervises two students enrolled in the Scientific Initiation Program of the undergraduate degree in Psychology (PIC-PSI) of the Department of Education and Psychology - University of Aveiro.
