Bio
My research focuses on analyzing the factors of sensitivity, judgment and moral behavior in the interpersonal dynamics of the peer group where violent phenomena such as Bullying. With the aim of understanding the psychosocial processes that occur within the peer group, such as friendship dynamics, social status, or group norms and that play a fundamental role in the perpetuation and maintenance of such dynamics of victimization. Since 2019, I am a contracted University Faculty Training (FPU). I have participated and participate in numerous National Plan projects (PSI2016-74871- R, PID2020-113911RB-I00), aimed at exploring the social, moral, motivational and group factors that play a key role in the complex dynamics of bullying among students. As well as a proof of concept project -MORAL-ME- (Ref.: PDC2021-121741-I00; 2021-2023) funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the European Union, which aims to develop a social, emotional and moral proposal aimed at promoting the quality of interpersonal relationships among peers and the prevention of school violence. In addition, I have been the beneficiary of different grants obtained under public competition and with highly competitive character as the Santander Ibero-America Research Scholarships 2020/2021 funded by the Banco Santander Group and the recently awarded Predoctoral Research grant funded by the Fulbright Predoctoral Research Program (2023). I have done two pre-doctoral stays: University of Groningen with Prof. Rene Veenstra (2019; for 3 months); Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2021-22; for 4 months). In addition, during the months of September through February, I will be spending time with Professor Dorothy Espelage at the University of North Carolina.
