Amit Prakash Singh (Member, IEEE) received the M.Tech. degree (computer science and engineering) from Guru Jambheswar University, Hissar, the M.Sc. degree (electronics) from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, and the Ph.D. degree in information technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, in 2011. He worked as a Lecturer at the University of Hyderabad and Banasthali Vidyapeeth. He joined GGSIPU, as a Lecturer, in July 2001, and was promoted to a Senior Lecturer, in July 2006, an Associate Professor, in 2012, and a Professor, in 2015. He is currently working as a Professor with the USICT, GGSIPU. His research work is in the area of artificial neural networks. He has published more than 50 research papers in international/national journals and attended various national/international workshops and conferences. He visited U.K., Portugal, Singapore, and Thailand to present his research work at international conferences. He is also heading a DST-funded project as a Principal Investigator (PI) in the area of the Internet of Things (IoT). His research interests include artificial neural networks, machine learning, and data science. He is an Active Member of IETE, CSI, VLSI Society of India, and the Indian Microelectronics Society.
