Amir Sharafkhaneh received the Fellowship from the Baylor College of Medicine. He is currently a Professor of medicine with the Baylor College of Medicine. He is also the Medical Director of the Tele Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Michael E Debakey VA Medical Center, Houston, TX, USA. He is a board certified in internal medicine pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He also has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Clinical Research. Since 2002, he has been conducting numerous research studies on respiratory diseases, including asthma, COPD, bronchitis, and emphysema. He is the Co-Chair of the VA/DOD COPD and the Asthma Guideline Committees.
