Bio
Amir Rosenthal received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Technion—Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel, in 2002 and 2006, respectively.
From 2009 to 2010, he was a Marie Curie Fellow with Cardiovascular Research Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA. From 2010 to 2014, he was a Group Leader with the Institute of Biological and Medical Imaging (IBMI), Technische Universität München, Munich, Germany, and also with Helmholtz Zentrum München, Oberschleißheim, Germany. Since 2015, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Andrew and Erna Viterbi Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Technion—Israel Institute of Technology. His research interests include optoacoustic imaging, interferometric sensing, intravascular imaging, inverse problems, and optical and acoustical modeling.
