Bio
Amir A. Abdallah received the Ph.D. degree in material science from the Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 2007.
He is currently a Scientist with the Energy Conversion Group, Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation, Doha, Qatar. He has industrial experience in fabrication of silicon solar cells, including process optimization and characterization. In addition, he has experience in tackling the electronic properties of amorphous silicon thin-film solar cells. He coordinates the project activities in photovoltaic module performance and reliability, including power losses due to soiling and high operating temperature and module degradation.
