My research deals with numerical simulation of fluid flow problems. My research experience is in the field of numerical modelling of multiphase flows, electro-hydrodynamics, cell and capsule dynamics, and fluid-solid interactions by Smoothed Particle hydrodynamics. So far, I have focused on many problems with large interface deformations, from fundamental examples such as droplet deformation and flow instabilities, to industrial applications such as bubble rising, droplet coalescence, aggregation of particles, and 3D electro-jet printing of polymeric solutions in both meso- and micro-scale levels. I am interested in extending in-house and open-source codes as well as developing numerical models for commercial CFD packages such as ANSYS-Fluent and COMSOL.
