个人简介
Passionate researcher interested in the implementation of machine learning within polymer science to provide users with robust algorithms capable of the following tasks with experimental validation:
1) Creating formulations capable of having specified target material properties
2) Predicting polymer processing defects of highly viscoelastic compounds within additive manufacturing (AM) and injection molding (IM)
3) Predicting fiber evolution of long fiber-reinforced thermoplastics during extrusion
4) Predicting material properties (rheological and thermal) of reprocessed thermoplastics to better understand recyclability of plastics
My second passion includes participating in social justice initiatives to improve recruitment and retention of historically underrepresented students by:
1) Actively seeking advisory board positions
2) Mentoring students
3) Participating in panelist discussions
