个人简介
I am an Interdisciplinary PhD student (Departments of Psychology and Sociology) at the University of Saskatchewan incorporating a One-Health approach by considering the human-animal-environment triad.
I am hoping to explore the beneficial effects of AAI (specifically therapy dogs) for students residing in university accommodations by considering measures of stress, homesickness, and mood. I will additionally explore parameters of animal welfare in the human-dog interactions. I will further investigate the benefits of companion animals in open settings (such as campus and accommodation) as opposed to more formalized human-animal interaction settings (such as labs).
