Bio
Ali Shafti received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in microelectronics engineering from Shahid Beheshti University and Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran respectively. He is a Ph.D. degree candidate at the Centre for Robotics Research (CoRe), King’s College London, U.K. His research interests include human–robot interaction, wearable technologies, and biomedical instrumentation. His Ph.D. research involves the design and creation of wearable sensors and techniques for objective assessment of human factors, as well as the creation of human–robot interaction protocols based on active monitoring, and continuous improvement of human comfort and ergonomics during human–robot collaboration.
