Bio
Alfredo Medina-Garcia was born in Cordoba, Spain, in 1979. He received the B.Sc. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Cordoba, Cordoba, Spain, in 1999, the M.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Granada, Granada, Spain, in 2002, and the M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Seville, Seville, Spain, in 2008. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in control methods for asymmetrical half-bridge flyback with the University of Granada.
In 2004, he joined Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany, where he is the Lead Principal in the innovation department for power conversion. His main area of research is high-efficient power converters with focus on high power density and new control algorithms where he has contributed with several journal publications and patents.
