Alexey A. Balakin

A. A. Balakin was born in Slavjansk, Ukraine (former USSR) in 1950. He was graduated from Rostov State University, Faculty of Physics, Rostov-on-Don, Russia with the Ph.D. degree in chemical physics which was received from the Institute of Chemical Physics of the Academy of Sciences of USSR in 1981. from 1972, he was working as a scientific researcher at the Branch of Institute of Chemical Physics in Chernogolovka, Moscow region, Russia. from 1987 he has been working at the Branch of Institute for Energy Problems of Chemical Physics. He is now the head of the laboratory of ionization processes in dense media. the area of interests is connected with ionization in dense media, conduction and electron/ion processes in dielectric liquids, ion extraction from liquids. He is the author more than 50 scientific works.
