Current Research & Expertise Current research focuses on Functional Materials, Catalysis, C-H Functionalization & Crystal Engineering with an emphasis on the following topics: (i) Design of functional coordination polymers, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and advanced (bio)materials on their basis; (ii) Synthetic and catalytic processes in aqueous medium; bioactive, catalytic, antimicrobial and drug-releasing nanomaterials; (iii) Catalytic functionalization of hydrocarbons and renewable feedstocks into derivatives with industrial significance (reaction mechanisms, kinetics, oxidation, carboxylation, green protocols, sustainable and bioinspired catalysis).
