Alexander D. Fraser

Alexander D. Fraser received the B.Comp.-B.Sc. degree from the University of Tasmania, Tasmania, Australia, in 2005, the B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in physics and the Ph.D. degree from the Antarctic Climate & Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre (ACE CRC) and the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies, Tasmania, in 2006 and 2011, respectively. His Ph.D. thesis was entitled “East Antarctic Landfast Sea Ice Distribution and Variability.” He is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher at ACE CRC, using various remote sensing techniques on the Antarctic Ice Sheet. His current research interests include the physical aspects of sea ice, and the links between glacial and sea ice.
