个人简介
Dynamic, high-resolution atomic scale imaging is a vital component in advancing the basic understanding of material properties and interactions. However, a unified approach for clear decoupling of electronic and structural effects from atomically resolved images is still elusive. I aim to understand structure to chemistry relationship of materials and the driving mechanisms behind chemical properties of surfaces and interfaces. My research interests span experimental techniques in ion and scanning probe microscopies; multivariate and Functional Data Analysis of high-dimensional experimental data, including image & data registration algorithms; and finally HPC backbones for enabling concurrent, real-time synergies between experimental and theoretical efforts.
