个人简介
I am a theoretical physicist, specialized in statistical physics and condensed matter theory. My education background has a strong theoretical imprint, including topics such as classical KAM and chaos theory, semiclassical analysis, stochastic processes, statistical field theory, spin glasses, Anderson localization, non-perturbative renormalization group, quantum many-body theory. During my research experience I expanded my interests to advanced computational tools (tensor networks) and experimental aspects (quantum simulations). I began active research during my undergraduate studies at the University of Milan, working on a microscopic theory of polaritons, and at ICTP, Trieste, working on transport properties across the many-body Anderson localization. In my Ph.D. at SISSA, Trieste, I gave contributions on the dynamical critical behavior of quantum systems with long-range interactions, and on the non-equilibrium dynamics of condensed matter systems and lattice gauge theories exhibiting versions of particle confinement. In my post-doc at the University of Geneva, I developed an influence functional approach to quantum many-body dynamics, which offers a complementary conceptual view on problems like thermalization, many-body localization and emergent hydrodynamics, as well as analytical and numerical tools at the intersection of quantum many-body physics, quantum information theory and open quantum systems.
