个人简介
Aleksandr Ovechkin (Student Member, IEEE) was born in Tula, Russian Federation, in 1995. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Moscow, Russian Federation, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. He also received the B.S. degree in economics from National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute, in 2018. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the KU Leuven Bruges Campus, Bruges, Belgium.
From 2017 to 2018, he was an Electrical Design Engineer with Bastion. From 2018 to 2019, he was a Structural Design Engineer with Joint-Stock Company Atomstroyexport, Moscow, Russia. His main research interest lies in dependable wireless connections capable of working under fault conditions in harsh electromagnetic environments.
Mr. Ovechkin’s awards and honors include the Russian Presidential scholarship, the victory in the technical championship “The power of future,” the award in the WorldSkills High-Tech 2018, the award of the international conference in National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute, a finalist of the best students’ graduate qualification works contest, and the award of the Moscow Olympiad in theoretical foundations in electrical engineering in National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute.
