Bio
Aleksandr Markov received the B.Sc. degree in physics from St.-Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, Russia, in 2012, the M.Sc. degree from the Peter Grünberg Institute, Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), Germany, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Complex Systems (ICS-8), Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), in 2017.
He completed his physics thesis work at Peter Grünberg Institute (PGI-8), Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), working on the fabrication of multilayer thin-film structures for microwave application. From 2014 to 2017, he worked with the Laboratory of Functional Oxides and Molecules, Forschungszentrum Jülich on Tailoring and characterization of bioelectronics interfaces. He completed doctoral thesis with the Institute of Complex Systems (ICS-8), Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ), in 2017, on self-assembled molecules and bioelectronics interfaces. In 2018, he joined the Research Group as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Laboratory of Organic Electronics, LOE, Linköping University’s Campus Norrköping, Sweden. He focused there on the application of organic semiconducting nanocrystals in bioelectronics and electrochemical applications. In 2019, he has moved to the Laboratory of Wearable Biocompatable Devices and Bionic Prostheses, Institute for Bionic Technologies and Engineering, I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, Moscow, Russia.
