Alejandro N. Flores received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in civil engineering from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, CO, USA, in 2001 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in hydrology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA, in 2009. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Geosciences, Boise State University, Boise, ID, USA, and the Director of the Lab for Ecohydrological Applications and Forecasting, Boise, ID, USA. His research interests include terrestrial system modeling, remote sensing, data assimilation, and integrated human–hydrologic systems modeling.
