I am a behavioral economist who uses lab, field, and online experiments to study the social and psychological determinants of economic behaviors, such as honesty, demand for redistribution, and financial risk-taking. More recently, I began to explore when and why we motivate our beliefs and how this can affect behavior. My research has been published in economics and finance journals such as American Economic Review, Review of Economic Studies and Review of Financial Studies. Some of my work has been published in general interest journals such as Nature, Science, and PNAS.
