Research Experience:
(1)Used multi-models ensemble to construct agricultural droughts over both China and U.S.. (2)Implemented the Variable Infiltration Capacity (VIC) model soil hydrology scheme into the NCAR CCSM land model (CLM). (3)Developed a three-layer land surface hydrological model to simulate and understand the time scales of land surface hydrology. (4)Implemented dead leaf parameterization into the NCAR CCSM land component (CLM3) and evaluated the impacts of dead leaf on the partitioning of land surface fluxes. (5) Developed a new treatment of snow over short vegetation in CLM3 that improves the model simulation of turbulence fluxes and snow melting process. (6)Investigated the continuous treatment of turbulence fluxes under different land cover in land surface models. (7)Experiences in the analysis of in-situ data and climate.
