Bio
Ahmed Rida Galaly received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in plasma physics from Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1998 and 2004, respectively.
He was a Visiting Researcher with the Institute of Plasma Physics (IPP), Prague, Czech Republic, in 2013, and the Faculty of Engineering, Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium, in 2018, for his extensive experience in the field of waste management and waste to energy as environmental sanitation consultant. He is currently with the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Beni Suef University, Beni Suef, Egypt. He is worked with the Department of Engineering Science, Faculty of Community, Umm Al_ Qura University, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. His research activities (more than 50 publications) are in the field of plasma physics. He has a good background about the economic and environmental considerations of different waste disposal systems and he makes the necessary recommendations to clients. He has a solid foundation in the budget and financial requirements that will be utilized by specific waste management enterprise, have recommended improvements and upgrades to recycling enterprises that meets local safety standards and environmental laws, and have a good experience about the solid waste classification and the different treatment ways of different waste to produce energy.
Dr. Galaly was certificated as a Waste Management and Eco-Consultant from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Saudi Arabia, in 2019; from the Community College, Umm Al Qura University, establishing the Environmental Inspection Diploma, Saudi Arabia, in 2019; from the Hajj and Umrah Research Institute as an Energy Consultant, Saudi Arabia, in 2016; and from Beni Suef University as an Environment Consultant in 2013.
