Ahmed Mehaney received the Ph.D. degree in phononic crystals and metamaterials from the Faculty of Science, Beni-Suef University, Egypt, in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Beni-Suef University, where he has a member of the Photonic crystals, Phononic crystals and Metamaterials (TH-PPM) Group. He is the author or coauthor of more than 47 international publications in refereed journals. His research interests include phononic crystals, acoustic devices, photonic crystals, and biosensors.
