Bio
Adriana Fernández-Fernández received the degree in telecommunications and electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in telematics engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She is a Senior Researcher with i2CAT Foundation, Spain. Before joining i2CAT, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the BAMPLA Research Group, UPC. She is the author/coauthor of over 20 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. She has been awarded several scholarships from the Spanish Government through the Research Training Program (FPI). Her current research interests include management, orchestration, and network slicing in 5G networks, as well as on NFV and cloud-native technologies. Her research interests include communication network modeling and optimization, energy-aware routing, SDN, and traffic engineering.
