Baxter-Jones Adam D G

Graduated 1985 from University of Ulster, UK with BSc (Hons) in Biology and in 1995 with a PhD from the Department of Child Health, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Aberdeen, UK. Appointed Associate Professor in the College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada in 2000. Was promoted to full Professor in 2005. From 2008 to 2010 and 2011 to 2012 was Associate Dean of Graduate Education and Research in the College of Kinesiology. From 2010 to 2011 was acting Dean of the College of Kinesiology. From 2013-2017 was Interim Dean of the College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Currently Professor of Kinesiology and associate member of the Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. Currently hold, or have held in last 5 years, over $9 million dollars in research funding, have published over 100 peer review papers and 250 conference abstracts. Area of research, longitudinal studies of childhood growth and maturation. Specifically interested in the role of exercise (and diet) during childhood on adolescence
