Abolghasem Sadeghi-Niaraki (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in geomatics engineering and the M.Sc. degree in geospatial information system (GIS) engineering from the Faculty of Geomatics Engineering, K. N. Toosi University of Technology (KNTU), and the Ph.D. degree in geo-informatics engineering from Inha University, South Korea, in 2008. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Computer Science and Engineering Department, Sejong University, South Korea. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor with the Geo-Informatics Engineering Department, Inha University. He is a member of the XR Research Center for Real-Virtual Interconnected Metaverse, approved by the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT. He has extensive teaching experience at various universities, including Sejong University, Inha University, and KNTU. His research interests include GeoAI, XR (MR, VR, and AR), metaverse, ubiquitous GIS, healthcare, HCI, and culture technology (CT).
