Bio
Abhinava Shivakumar Sadasivarao is a Software Architect with the Networking BU at NVIDIA Corporation (USA). He was with Infinera Corporation (USA) between 2012-2021, most recently as a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on software architecture for Infinera's DCI/Cloud platforms, embedded network operating system software, SDN and security.
He has been involved in several first-of-a-kind PoCs and demonstrations of SDN applicability to optical transport. He has (co-)authored multiple peer-reviewed and invited publications at IEEE, ACM, OSA, Springer venues, tutorial presentations and approved patents. He completed his graduate studies in computer engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (MS 2012). He hails from Bengaluru, India where he completed his undergraduate studies in computer science (BE 2009). He is a member of IEEE and OSA.
