个人简介
I am Abdullah Bin Omar, having 15+ years of rich teaching and administrative experience in different under- and postgraduate educational institutes with 15 research publications including high impact factor journals in the Finance, Accounting & Economics discipline. Currently, I am serving in National College of Business Administration & Economics (NCBA&E) Lahore (Sub-campus Multan) Pakistan, as an Assistant Professor Finance.
I am having long teaching, learning, consulting, and research experience in various Higher Education institutions. The key distinguishing feature of my teaching methodology is to foster and provide practical exposure to class students especially by getting them involve in real-time trading in financial markets. With the advancement in application of technology in Finance field, the FinTech, Financial Analytics and other related courses are highly demanded in academia. Keeping in view their importance, I am updating and aligning myself to these courses and got enrolled at Coursera in: (i) Applying Data Analytics in Finance (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign); and (ii) Financial Technology (FinTech) Innovations Specialization (University of Michigan). Furthermore, I am also trading in Cryptocurrency at Binance Exchange to equip myself with practical knowledge and to bring excellence and quality in class lectures. I am also having extensive experience to supervise bachelor and master students in their thesis/projects/capstone projects. Moreover, I intend to publish articles in high ranked ABS journals along with teaching and administrative roles in future as currently doing the same in my current employer.
