Bio
Abdul Kashif Janjua received the bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Air University Islamabad, in 2013, the master’s degree (course work) from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), and the M.S. degree (research work) in energy systems engineering from Arizona State University (ASU), in 2017. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, NUST. He has worked as a Design Engineer at ET Photonics, from 2012 to 2013, and a Research Assistant at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, (NUST), from 2013 to 2014. He is serving as a Research Associate with the U.S. Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Energy, NUST, and a Volunteer Consultant of energy engineering with EDCONS, Pakistan. His major research interests are in policy optimization using AI for smart, micro, and nanoscale grid architecture, economic dispatch problems, and economic optimization for smart renewable systems.
