Bio
Dr. Kader is a soil scientist having a PhD on Applied Biological Science from Ghent University and currently works at the Agriculture and Food Technology Discipline, University of South Pacific. He has more than 20 years of teaching and research experience mainly in the field of Soil Fertility, Soil Organic Matter, and Nitrogen Availability to plants in different universities of Asia, Europe, and the Pacific. Currently, he is conducting research on different aspects of soil management in the South Pacific Island countries, composting and vermicomposting and nutrient cycling in taro based cropping systems in addition to his main research interest on soil organic matter and N dynamics in agro-ecosystem.
