Abdul Hafeez
Research Assistant at Quaid-i-Azam University | Exploring Physics Beyond the Standard Model
I am Abdul Hafeez, currently working as a research assistant under the guidance of Dr. Jamil Aslam at Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad. Our research focuses on investigating the decays of B-Meson into the Axial Vector final states, aiming to probe physics beyond the standard model.
With a degree in Physics from Quaid-i-Azam University, I completed my graduate thesis on Angular Observables in Semileptonic B-Meson decays. Throughout my studies, I developed a strong foundation in physics, including expertise in Mathematical Methods of Physics, Statistical Mechanics, Quantum Field Theory, advanced Quantum Mechanics, Particle Physics, and Nuclear Physics.
Prior to my current role, I conducted a reviewed paper titled "Measurement of Radioactivity in Soil and Water Samples" under the supervision of Dr. Muzammil Bukhari. Despite encountering limitations due to the lack of instrumental facilities at the University of Balochistan, I remain passionate about pursuing this area of study in my future endeavors. I eagerly look forward to further exploring the topic and contributing to advancements in radioactivity measurement.
In addition to my research experience, I possess proficiency in various software programs, including LaTeX, Lyx, Mathematica, and Microsoft Office. I am a quick learner and a dedicated team player, able to effectively collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals. I am deeply passionate about my field and continually seek new opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills.
In summary, my education, research experience, and technical expertise position me as a strong candidate for further opportunities in the field of physics.
