I have wide experience in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on signal and medical imaging processing, pulmonary engineering, mathematical modeling of biological systems, respiration physiology and pathology. I have worker on chest computed tomography, chest nuclear medicine, ventilatory support in intensive medicine and anesthesia, pulmonary inflammation and infection, interstitial lung disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and, more recently, in lung nodule characterization.
